Our glass nail files are crafted with a uniform surface texture that safely removes callused skin without gouging living tissue. Glass nail files seal the edge of the nail with every stroke leaving a near polished nail edge.
Our glass manicure stick is considered a “game changer” by top manicure celebrities and nail techs. With a tapered tip on one end and slanted tip on the other, it's an essential multi-functional nail care tool. The tapered end allows filing in small narrow and creviced areas like the edges or underside of the nail. Shape and clean nail edges, remove hangnails, place nail art, remove nail polish mistakes, and more. The textured slant tip may be used to gently and safely push and remove cuticles, file small calluses/hardened skin around the nails, fingertips, and toes. All of our crystal glass files and cuticle sticks are handcrafted in the Czech Republic from thick Bohemian glass, specially formulated and tempered against breaking. The texture is chemically etched directly into the block of thick glass and is impossible to wear off. The super fine, even surface is the healthiest choice for a nail. Without the danger of sharp, inconsistently glued abrasive crystals, our files do not cause microscopic frays and gouges and even allow filing in any and all directions. The etched texture reduces the risk of nail bed cracking and delamination. Don't sand your nails, seal them.
What Grit Are They?
Grit typically refers to the coarseness of emery board files, which use different grain sizes for shaping or finishing. Glass files, however, have a permanently etched, uniform surface, and the result—whether shaping like coarse grit or finishing like fine grit—depends entirely on the pressure you apply.
