These Tapered Jaw cuticle nippers have a more aggressive cut and steeper angle than standard nippers. It will fit easily in small, narrow, and hard to reach areas making them the best choice for nail technicians. These nippers are hand sharpened to create a razor sharp edge and have several design features to extend its life and reduce the frequency of resharpenings needed.
High Carbon Stainless Steel is as strong as high carbon steel and as rust proof as stainless. This combination steel is harder & requires MUCH LESS resharpening than regular stainless.
The nearly frictionless Beveled Joint ensures minimal wear and tear. When combined with a frictionless Double Spring, the movement is super smooth and will stay that way for years. The Open Joint reduces the accumulation of debris over time and allows access for easy cleaning. Our hand filed nippers have a hairline gap when held up to the light. This is a mark of quality craftsmanship, ensuring blades are not crushed and damaged during use.
SELECT YOUR JAW SIZE:
-3mm jaw is good to keep on hand for occasional use on smaller hands or in tighter areas where the nail bed bends steeply into the flesh.
-5mm is industry standard. If you don't know what to get, this is a size well suited for a variety of nails and nail beds.
-7mm jaw lengths have added length to last through more resharpenings, so it has a nice long usable life without being unwieldy to use. However they can sometimes be difficult to use on small fingers or tiny toes.

"I don't work in a salon and only use these for fussing with my own cuticles. These are outrageously sharp and clearly good quality.For whatever reason I obsessed over cuticle nippers for a while and bought several different pairs. Probably because I had a 20+yr old pair of Revlons and was saddened to see how much more cheaply they are made now. I bought these, a couple from big-box brick and mortar stores, and a couple of the random brands on Amazon. Honestly, these are a luxury. The 9 dollar pairs will suffice for most people at home, but this is like the difference between a Henckels vs a Farberware kitchen knife. I'm guessing these are salon grade nippers."

"I’m on my 4th nipper and I could use my previous ones but have no idea where I can order replacement springs/hingeThat is the only reason why I don’t encourage my team to get them because they break easily and I see no place to order replacement parts so your stuck with a non usable nipper! Other then that it seriously is the best tool I’ve owned that I’ve used on my clients"

Reason for that is because of how sharp it is, how amazingly comfortable it feels in your hand, and how easily it trims. The material used is truly strong and premium. "while these are extremely high quality with flawless hand held design, i believe the design is so different from most others (cheaper ones), the most consumers gravitate to the market where the jaws meet together entirely. saying i don’t aspire to use this design is meant only to pint out that even if these nippers are the proper design most users have grown accustomed to the least expensive ones. love the blades and handles and the little case. i’ve been using nippers for yrs and have purchased these many yrs ago, which jogs my memory - back then i also added a knock off due to the same issue, the concept was a difficult learning curve for me. i still cherish the little leather cover that came w them, that’s a treasure."
